"Give him the No.10"- These Chelsea fans are right, one man must get everything if Hazard goes

According to The Telegraph, Real Madrid have already approached Chelsea about a summer deal for Eden Hazard, who could be set to finally link up with his idol, Zinedine Zidane. Surely if the Blues cannot keep the Belgian then they absolutely have to hold onto Callum Hudson-Odoi.

What’s the word?

Well, The Telegraph reports that Los Blancos had firmed up their interest not long before Zidane, who Hazard admires greatly, took the helm again on Monday.

The Telegraph understands that the Santiago Bernabeu outfit have made a proposal to the Blues, who haven’t yet budged on their £100m valuation, despite the talisman’s contract being set to expire in the summer.

For months, Hazard has left an offer worth £300,000-a-week on the table and, now that Zidane has been reinstated at the Real helm, it looks likely to remain unsigned.

With Chelsea under a two-window transfer embargo, losing the influential winger at the end of the season would be a disaster. It is crucial, then, that they don’t let the 98-cap international’s successor follow him out the door.

Give him the world
The youngster is one of the brightest, young English talents and should certainly be getting far more minutes than his win-at-all-costs boss affords him – Maurizio Sarri evidently prefers experience in the starting XI, hence his starting of Pedro and Willian over Hudson-Odoi.

Despite a lack of opportunities, the 18-year-old winger always stamps his mark on the game when introduced from the bench and has scored in his last two appearances for the Stamford Bridge outfit, versus Malmo and Dynamo Kiev.

Having been subject to a £35m bid from Bayern Munich in January, the starlet will certainly have the Bavarian giants back on the phone in the summer but, if Hazard is as good as gone, they must give Hudson-Odoi the world – that includes a massive new deal, putting him on parity with some of the top earners at the club, the vacated 10 shirt, regular minutes etcetera.

These Chelsea fans are spot on – Hudson-Odoi will undoubtedly go on to be a great player given the opportunities other players in a similar age bracket are at other top clubs. Just look at Manchester United’s team that beat PSG last week, or Manchester City’s youthful, title-winning side – there is no reason why Chelsea can’t do the same for their own exciting prospect.
