Hudson-Odoi is one of the most exciting wingers in the game right now and has been tipped to become a world class player, but there is a lot of speculation surrounding his future as he would prefer to get a lot more game time than he has currently been receiving under Maurizio Sarri.

He was introduced in the 78th minute of the Europa league win against Dinamo Kiev, but was an immediate impact as he got himself on the scoresheet as Chelsea ran out comfortable 3-0 winners.
And Hoddle said the teenager was capable of becoming ‘far better’ than Pedro and Willian, who both also scored against Kiev.
‘I think he’s an immense talent,’ he said on BT Sport.‘What I’ve seen at youth level and when England [Under-17s] won the World Cup, he looks the part, he looks intelligent.
‘I look for intelligence in a young player, not what he can do with the ball, it’s where he will be in five years’ time. ‘Will he be far better than Willian? Will he be far better than Pedro? Probably, if he’s given the chance.
‘He’s got to get the chance to go in there and get the experience under his belt. He’s got immense talent, he looks the part but he needs the time to play.

‘He hasn’t played enough. He’s not played 20 games, the minutes equate to eight-and-a-half matches. They’re talking about selling him for £40m. He’s not proven anything yet. Eight-and-a-half games is nothing.’
Could Hudson-Odoi be better than Willian or Pedro?
It is a strong statement by Hoddle and only time will tell if he fulfils his clear potential with the club, but if he gets the game time his talent deserves then it could be a very exciting time for Chelsea and the player himself.
